Qualifications and Experience
Physio4Kids is run by Lynda Pedley (GradDipPhys.MCSP.SRP, OCPPP.APCP), a highly qualified and experienced chartered paediatric physiotherapist.
Lynda is HPC registered and a Member of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists. She is also an Associate member of The Children's Brain Injury Trust.
She graduated from St. Mary's Hospital, London, is a fully accredited Bobath therapist and uses a neurodevelopment approach to treatment, alongside other therapeutic techniques in order to suit individual needs.
She has completed a Clinical Supervisors Course and is qualified in the use of Acupuncture and Class 3b lasers for therapeutic purposes, specific to paediatrics.
Lynda has completed numerous post graduate courses including:

- Andreas Frolick's approach to the development of the Profoundly Disabled Child
- Halliwick Swimming Instructor
- Assessment and use of Paediatric Orthotics
- Gait Analysis and Biomechanics
- Treatment and Rehabilitation of Head Injuries
- Clinical Supervisors Card
Lynda has practised paediatric physiotherapy for a number of years and has now established her own private practice.
Other experience and positions include:
- Worked in the NHS and independent sectors.
- Eight years as a Superintendent Physiotherapist at a specialist Paediatric Centre in Hertfordshire.
- Clinical Supervisor for physiotherapy students
- Assessor for selection of physiotherapy students for admission to degree courses
- Medical Technical Advisor for British Sports Association for the Disabled. (B.S.A.D.)
- Paediatric Physiotherapist for SCOPE.
- Worked as an advisor in integration to a number of Local Education Authorities.
- Lecturer on GP Child Health Surveillance Course in Hertfordshire.
- Served on National Executive Medical Technical Committee of B.S.A.D.
